China has around 70 million Christians. 85% of believers live
in the countryside and outlying cities. They barely receive any
visitors.
Just 1% of the 70 million Christians are pastors, church leaders,
co-workers ...
they do not know if there is anyone out there praying for them.
That is why we started this movement. We want to show ministers in
China that we care by bringing them your hand-written card and your
designated bibles and teaching materials.
Sister Tung-mui Chan in Hong Kong.
These cards are painted by a gifted and famous Hong Kong painter, Sister Tung-mui Chan, from Revival Christian Church.
She didn't
allow her physical disability to limit her but has developed her
artistic skills through painting with her feet.
We hope you like her cards and will be touched by her painting just like our fellow church leaders in China, who have been working hard for the Kingdom of God everyday.
We see them as sheep without a shepherd and stand-alone fighters who are trying to fight the good fight of faith and to preach the Gospel to as many people as possible. Therefore, we hope to not just meet their materials needs, but also to meet the need of their hearts - through love and support from us all!
The Care Cards are just one of a few ideas we came up with to bless the Chinese church leaders. We pray that God will open our eyes to see and help us to be creative in our thinking so that we can create more of these little treats for our brothers and sisters in mainland China. If YOU have an idea of how to CARE for the Chinese Ministers, please let us know ...
Sister Tung-mui Chan's Cards
These

are three cards
Miss Chan painted for Chinese ministers.
Show your care, start with your action!
Step 1: Order a card.
Step 2: Write or draw your own greeting on the card.
Step 3: Enclose your love offering with the card and then mail it to us. (Don't forget to put your first name on the card.)
Step 4: We will then deliver your love together with the materials to the hands of the House Church leaders!
Examples and Testimoies
You can write a message or draw it, or even paint your own card.
Some people have
written their favourite Bible verse. Others have drawn a cross and a
heart. Still others have written messages of encouragement in whatever
language they use.
Please remember to sign your card with your first name.
These cards serve to encourage and support our beloved brothers and sisters in China. You can also help the Church in China by sending a love offering for much-needed teaching material and for Bibles.
Testimony:
Our co-workers do their frequent rounds among mainland
churches, conducting training for the believers. Once we were in a
Jiangsu church doing a 5-day intensive course, challenging the
participants to persevere in their ministries under whatever
circumstances. Among them was a preacher who was considering giving up,
under pressure from family and society, despite years in the ministry.
Our encouragement helped renew his faith and strength. His church has
now been revitalized and has a membership of 2000, previously there
were only 200.
Indeed, a small word of concern and a little measure of care do wonders
for the recipients. Let’s show our love in action to these mainland
brothers and sisters.
Thank You:
We thank you wholeheartedly for showering blessings and prayers upon us. We shall remember you likewise in our prayers. Brother David, Xuzhou. November 30, 2007
